How to Stay in Shape When You’re Busy
You’ve been staying active long enough to have created sustaining habits. Then… Life happens! Your routine that you’ve worked so hard to establish has now just been hijacked by vacation, business travel, or some other insanity of life… even pandemics. Sound familiar? Here’s how you can maintain momentum and not only keep that progress you made, but continue working towards your goals.
It’s by far one of the most frequent things witnessed as a Coach. Clients work hard for months, buy into a working process, then get derailed by planned and oftentimes unplanned events.
For most, this break is one that has lasting results. And the roller coaster ride taxes us physiologically too. Exercise regularly and experience optimum health and function. Pause the effort for too long and witness the loss of all those gains you worked so hard for.
That’s why I’m sharing this simple, do-it-anywhere workout. It only takes a few minutes to complete, requires minimal to no equipment (except your own body weight), and focuses on compound movements that are proven to be more effective in building strength and burning calories well beyond the actual exercise period.
It’s also very adaptable. You can easily rearrange exercise order, skip a few if short on time, find easy ways to add resistance, or modify the number of reps and rounds based on how much time you have and how you feel that day.
What matters most is that you’re active every day. And this helps remove the complexities in doing that.
